Garbage and Recycling is picked up by the City of Raleigh every Thursday.  Please place your rollout and recycliing bins on your curb Thursday Morning (or late Wednesday night) and remove them Thursday Evening.

Yard waste is collected on Thursday as well.  Yard debris and tree limbs need to be broken up and placed in a barrel or in bags.  Leaves should be bagged in clear plasic bags or paper bags and placed on the curb.  There are special collection times during the year when leaves can be raked down to the curb and the city will come by and suck them up.  Check the blog and the City of Raleigh website for these times.

The Yard Waste Center is located at 900 N. New Hope Road, off of Highway 64 East. Normal hours of operation are Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. Additional information may be obtained by calling 919-250-2728.

Non-commercial vehicles pay a fee of $25 per ton, with a minimum fee of $6.25.  

The Yard Waste Center accepts payment in the form of MasterCard, VISA, checks with proper ID, and cash.
